To understand lean manufacturing concepts. Reduce costs and improve cycle times through an elimination of 'waste' in the manufacuring process.
Description:
APS program is a Tier 1 of Lean Manufacuring training. It is a hands on 4 day program with theory on the concepts of various kinds of waste along with floor exercises
Contents:

ABLP Criteria 5.0 : Process Management
Remarks:
This is mandatory for all plants that want to launch TPM in a structured manner, with at least one person identified as Leader (who would be working full time driving this program). In Wave 1 and Wave 2 total 27 persons from 19 Plants across the Group have been trained.
To provide a clear path to Lean implementation, ensuring a quick deployment and immediate bebefits
Description:
Value Stream Mapping is Tier 2 of Lean Manufacturing training. Participants will learn to use a visual plan to understand the business process flow of a product or product family.
They would then use lean concepts of waste reduction to improve the process flow.
